Our house tours are in small groups led by one of our experienced house guides. For the comfort and safety of the group we can only have one tour going round the house at a time.


The upstairs portion of the house tours is only accessible by a staircase. Our house guides will provide a book with photos of the upstairs rooms for anyone who cannot access the upstairs part of the tour. The ground floor of the house is accessible to wheelchairs, but not to powered mobility vehicles due to restricted space and turning circles.


Garden only visitors do not need to book in advance, simply pay on arrival at the ticket office.


We hold weddings on weekends throughout the summer months. This means that at the time of your visit there may be a marquee on the lawn, busy with florists and caterers setting up. We apologise in advance for any disturbance this may cause to atmosphere and views.
