Sezincote is a truly unique and beautiful Estate, with tremendous potential despite the limitations of soil type and high permanent pasture acreage, amongst others. It has been carefully nurtured over the years with great emphasis on preservation of the environment, and keeping in mind the well being of the community it belongs to and particularly the people who make Sezincote the place it is today.

Traditionally, agriculture and farm rentals would have supported the estate and the maintenance of the House and other properties. However, with costs of such maintenance increasing and the decline in farming profits, this is no longer the case. The management of land and property is the estate’s main activity and it is working on a planning and development strategy which will aim to find viable options for the reuse of redundant agricultural buildings.

Property

There are a range of properties to rent at Sezincote from larger six bedroom farm houses through to quirky 2 bedroom period cottages, and everything in between. These do become available periodically and are let on Assured Shorthold Tenancies. The majority of property for rent are either in the heart of Sezincote Estate itself or in the neighbouring villages of Bourton-on-the-Hill and Longborough. There is a very small collection of commercial property to rent on the estate, including offices, shops and storage facilities.

Farm

Sezincote Farm is a family partnership that is now on its third generation. The partnership consists of around 2,000 acres in-hand in the North Cotswolds. The farm lies 3 miles to the west of Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold. The land consists mainly of cotswold brash on the higher ground where most of the arable enterprise is concentrated and clay loam over ridge & furrow on the lower ground where our permanent pasture lies and where the cattle and sheep graze from April to November.
